The room was obviously freshly redone; it was immaculately clean with a new refrigerator and microwave. Plenty of towels. Toiletries were available. Plenty of cups and complimentary bottled water in the room. A good internet connection and good television - even a gaming screen installed in the second bedroom. A comfortable easy chair and a table with chairs. A locally known diner right next door with connected parking lots and the motel rooms are set back from the highway.

Pleasant Hill Motel is a small, modest facility and to be truthful, I didn't expect much at all. We just needed an inexpensive place to sleep overnight. But to our surprise, the room was tastefully appointed, spotlessly clean, smelled fresh, (all too often these no-smoking rooms still reek of smoke; not so with Pleasant Hill), was inexpensive and is located next door to a diner with great coffee!

the room was very clean. it didn’t smell, no bugs, and well insulated. the bathroom looks newly redone, it’s very small but it has everything you need. a hairdryer is included. no tub, just a standard shower. the staff are very accommodating, we had to change our stay length and we were refunded without a hassle. this place is great for an overnight stay or 2.

3 minute walk to Odesa Diner, an excellent place for all meals. Refrigerator and microwave. Nice bed. Quiet at night. Easy parking at room door. Easy access from highway. The motel is old, but updated. It sits back from the highway, sound is not a problem. Utterly magnificent tree. Nice to sit outside in the summer evening.
